Monster Monster High, Monster High!
These cosplays were SO FUN to wear, Ghoulia is my all time Favorite Ghoul and bringing her to unlife was SO FUN. The cosplay itself is technically simple but finding all the right fabric and patterns was no easy thing. I got lucky at the fabric store I was working at and found both short fabrics, but I had to special order the polka dotted pants. This was my first time making real pants with a full zipper closure and I am STILL proud of them. They may have lived in my “regular clothes” wardrobe for a while, the undershirt is still worn almost 10 years later.
My favorite part of this cosplay (other than getting to do it with one of my best friends) was the SUPER THICCC wig, which was made from 2 heavily discounted Arda wigs when they were clearing out their silky fiber stock. This wig is still in heavy rotation for me and has even been lent out to friends for various cosplays over the years. I want to re-make this cosplay really bad, wearing her was so much fun and SO COMFY.
