She-Hulk
Marvel Comics/She-Hulk: Attorney
She-Hulk has been one of my favorite characters since I was a literal child reading my Dad’s comics and looking at the poster of She-Hulk on muscle beach.
2013 version was made from spandex, it was my first time sewing stretch fabrics and making a leotard. The color blocking was a lot of fun, though I had to double up the white fabric so it wasn’t see-through. The main focus of this cosplay was the body paint and I learned that green is MUCH harder to blend that orange, this was also before I started using tights for my leg color so, it was EVERYWHERE. I wore this version of the cosplay with the Portland Superhero Coalition as “The Green Goddess” for a few years before retiring her.
In 2022 I was asked to do a body paint Demo at Rose City Comic Con, and the new she-Hulk series was about to premier so, I brought her back with a new wig and more casual thrifted outfit to be “She-Hulk:Attorney at Law”
